7:30 PM - Old South Church, Copely Square, Boston - New Works in Concert by Composer Alla Cohen. Featuring New Opera Buffa Three Young Women and a Piece of Lace and compositions for Chamber Orchestra and Chamber Ensembles. $20/$10 students & seniors.
JUNE 7, 2011: OLD SOUTH CHURCH
The concert of new compositions of Alla Elana Cohen: "An Evening of Opera-Buffa and Instrumental Ensembles" was held on Tuesday, the 7th of June, at 7:30 pm, at Old South Church, Boston (645 Boylston Street). The program featured a one-act opera-buffa "The Cunning Housekeeper" (Alla Elana Cohen is the author of both music and libretto), performed in piano arrangement, new string quartet, new duos for cello and piano, for violin and piano, for flute and harp, and a new composition for chamber orchestra.

JUNE 3, 2010: GOETHE-INSTITUT, BOSTON, MA
CD RELEASE OF JUPITER DUO
Alla Elana Cohen celebrated the release of her new CD, JUPITER DUO, which was recorded in Jordan Hall with international prize winning cellist Sebastian Baverstam.
The new album - which features innovative new works by Cohen for cello and piano - celebrates ten years of musical collaborations between Cohen and the 21 year old cello virtuoso Baverstam. The concert will include music from the new album as well as other works by Cohen for solo cello, violin and cello, and string quartet. Alla Cohen, piano; Sebastian Baverstam cello; Marissa Licata, violin; Ethan Wood, violin; and Laura Krentzman, viola.

Alla Elana Cohen's "Inner Temple" volume 1 series 3 "The Route of Compassion" for String Quartet was performed by the famous JACK Quartet at the concert of this internationally acclaimed ensemble at Old South Church, Boston MA.
FEBRUARY 25, 2010: GOETHE-INSTITUT, BOSTON, MA
The concert of Alla Elana Cohen's music, sponsored by Israeli Consulate, and featuring Israeli musicians (among them internationally acclaimed Ariel String Quartet), playing Alla Elana Cohen's music, with herself at the piano, was held on the 25th of February 2010, at Goethe Institute, Boston, MA.
NOVEMBER 8, 2010: INTERNATIONAL CHICAGO FLUTE CLUB FESTIVAL
On the 8th of November 2009 Alla Elana Cohen's composition "Watercolors of the Master Who Is Accustomed to Paint Oils" volume 2, series 3, for Piccolo Flute solo was performed by internationally acclaimed flutist Bianca Garcia with great success at International Chicago Flute Club bi-annual Flute Festival. The work was commissioned by, and dedicated to, Bianca Garcia.
OCTOBER 5, 2009: BERKLEE COLLEGE OF MUSIC / DAVID FRIEND HALL, BOSTON
Alla Elana Cohen's composition "Watercolors of the Master Who Is Accustomed to Paint Oils" volume 1, series 9, for Flute and Piano, was performed at Berklee College, David Friend Hall, Boston, by the outstanding Spanish flutist Francisco Carreno, with Alla Elana Cohen at the piano.
FEBRUARY 12, 2009: CALDERWOOD PAVILION, BOSTON, MA
Thursday, February 12, 2009 marked Alla Cohen's first ticketed American public concert at the Stanford Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for The Arts' Wimberly Theatre, located at 527 Tremont Street, in Boston's chic and artsy South End. The concert was hosted by TV personality Joyce Kulhawik and esteemed Third Stream pianist Ran Blake. The event featured works for chamber orchestra, brass quintet, string quartet, marimba and vibraphone duo, cello and piano duo, violin and piano duo, cello solo, and piano solo.

6."Inner Temple" vol.1, series 3 "The Day of Atonement" for Chamber Orchestra
Alla Elana Cohen performed at this concert as the pianist in all the
compositions, that required it.

2. "Book of Prayers" vol.2, series 4, for Cello and Piano, dedicated to Sebastian Baverstam;
3. "Inner Temple" vol.1, series 2 "The Route of Compassion" for String Quartet, dedicated to the Blessed Memory of my Mother, Rebecca.
Alla Elana Cohen performed piano part in all those compositions, and also
performed 5 Piano Preludes by James Russell Smith at this recital.
